Meet the Doctors
Dr. John Greensfelder
John Greensfelder is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Gambrills community.
Dr. John Greensfelder was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from University of Maryland College Park where he received his Bachelors degree in Biology and Kinesiology. He then attended Southern California University formally Los Angles College of Chiropractic where he received his doctorate in 1996.
Dr. John is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges and is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association. He is also a member of BNI (Business Network International), Gambrills Crossroads, Sigma Chi Psi, and Beta Theta Pi.
He began his practice in Annapolis in 1998 were he practiced for 5 years. He then purchased his current practice in Gambrills, Maryland in 2004. His dream was always to have a multi-disciplinary practice.
Dr. Greensfelder is certified and specializes in several different techniques, including: Thompson, Diversified, Flexion-Distraction, Acupressure, Myofascial Release, and SOT. He is also certified in spinal decompression therapy. Along with these adjustment techniques he combines physical therapy modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot and cold therapies in his patient treatment plans.
Dr. John has two dogs Sophie and Jake that occupy most of his free time. They like to take him on long walks in the woods and the beach. There are days you may see them exploring the office and greeting patients. He enjoys all the local sports teams in the area and loves to spend time with his family.
Dr. Alicia Kovach
Dr. Alicia Kovach was born and raised in a small rural community in Treynor, Iowa. She graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa where she received her doctorate in 2006.
Dr. Kovach is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges and is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association. She is also a member of BNI (Business Network International), ABWA (American Business Women Association), Gambrills Crossroads, and Sigma Phi Chi Sorority.

Since her move to the Eastern Shore of Maryland she has enjoyed all the shore has to offer! Enjoying the water, crabs and the people of Maryland. In her spare time Dr. Kovach enjoys spending time with family who also have made the big move from Iowa to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. She also has been enjoying all of the sports events that she has been able to enjoy since moving to this area! Especially since Iowa does not have many NFL and the MLB teams! In her spare time she also enjoys running and reading.
