Our massage therapists are trianed and licensed professionals. Odenton Chiropractic's Licensed Massage Practitioners are selected for their knowledge, skills, experience, and commitment to excellence.  Our therapists are members of national massage therapy associations and follow clinical guidelines for injury treatment and recovery.  Our clinic can provide you the best in both therapeutic and relaxation massage.

Therapeutic massage is essential for complete recovery from an injury. Odenton Chiropractic prides itself in the effective treatment of whiplash, work and sports injuries, and chronic physical complaints.  Our care is personalized to each stage and severity of an injury.  Massage decreases pain and spasm, promotes healing, and restores function.

Massage is relaxing and healthy. Massage sedates the nervous system and counteracts the body’s response to stress, relaxing muscle tension and allowing heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation to normalize.  It also restores a calm mind and feeling of well being.

CHERYL PACE, LMT

Cheryl Pace has been a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer since 1997, helping people create healthy positive life choices.  She graduated from Anne Arundel Therapeutic Massage program in 2004.  She practices in numerous Retirement & Rehabilitation Centers.  And, is an Instructor for the Anne Arundel Therapeutic Massage Program, in which she teaches students fundamental knowledge and techniques to execute massages.  Her specialties are to facilitate healing within people who struggle with chronic pain as well as deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy.  Cheryl’s bodywork is ideal for correcting chronic soft tissue dysfunction (stubborn muscle/knots and or contractions) caused by stress, physical exertion, injury, congenial disease or surgery. 

JOHN WOOD, LMT

John is a 1999 graduate of Potomac Massage Therapy Institute - sometimes referred to as the Harvard of east coast massage schools located in Washington, D.C. Some of his continuing education includes orthopedic assessment, ortho-bionomy and posturology. John specializes in deep tissue massage and bodywork. He learned sports massage from Elliot Greene, past president of the AMTA and published author of The Psychology of the Body. John had his first experience with massage therapy while recovering from an auto accident in 1993. His chiropractor recommended it, stating that his neck “was too tight to work with.” “It worked for me and I started believing in it” says John. “Later I felt if it had worked so well for me in helping to relieve pain perhaps I could help other people recover from their injuries.” John worked as a massage therapist in a health club in the evenings while working at his full-time job. In 2001 he decided to pursue his passion and quit his job to do massage on a full-time basis. John enjoys hiking, biking and other outdoor activities with Susan as well as gardening and yoga.

TOM NIBLEY, LMT

Tom Nibley was born in Provo, Utah and grew up with the ambition to be an actor. He moved to Southern California after college and spent twenty years in show biz, with indifferent results. Circumstances took him back to Utah in 2002.  While there, he decided on a change in career and enrolled in the Utah College of Massage Therapy.  In 2005, he graduated from the Professional and then the Master Bodyworker programs with honors.  He moved to Maryland in order to marry and begin his career as a massage therapist. He likes to customize his work to the person he is working on using physical techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, and Active Isolated Stretching combined with subtle energy techniques such as Craniosacral, reflexology and acupressure.

PENNY LISTMAN, LMT

Penny’s adventure in massage therapy dates to 1976 when she worked in a hospital.  She would massage her patients experiencing long hospital stays.  These same patients told Penny that the “back rubs” were their favorite part of their recovery.  She believes the sense of touch, as a healing instrument to be one of her basic instincts.  She continues educational courses in aromatherapy, reflexology and sports massage.  She has developed her own unique style in over 30 years of massage where the muscle tissues are stretched to promote the healing process and uses aromatherapy to enhance the massage.

WENDI DAVIS, LMT

Wendi Davis is a Certified Massage Therapist who graduated from Anne Arundel Massage Program in December 2006.  She holds an Associates Degree from AACC and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.  Wendi is both nationally and state certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork and specializes in Myofacial release, Deep Tissue, Swedish massage and facilitated stretching techniques.  Wendi has been training in the "Healing from the Core" program with Nationally recognized healer, Mike Uggen from Indiana and Tereaz Scholze of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.  To date, her work has mostly focuses on patients with chronic health issues and chronic pain.  Wendi is a previous student of Cheryl Pace.
